Typhoon Ulysses (international name: Vamco) was a powerful and very destructive Category 4-equivalent typhoon that struck the Philippines and Vietnam. It also caused the worst flooding in Metro Manila since Tropical Storm Ondoy in 2009. The twenty-first storm in the Philippine Area of Responsibility, the tenth typhoon, and the twenty-second named storm, Ulysses struck Luzon on November 11, 2020 as a Category 2 typhoon.
Impacts on ABS-CBN[]
Due to the network's 2020 closure, an information gap was formed among remote areas which could only receive the network's signals. Teleradyo went into Special Coverage as a result of the storm, with ANC simulcasting DZMM alike to the network's coverage of Super Typhoon Rolly. The Digital premiere of My Lockdown Romance was cancelled as a result of the storm. Game KNB? did not air on November 12, 2020 due to the storm's onslaught.
