Super Typhoon Rolly (internationally known as Goni, which means swan in Korean) was an extremely powerful tropical cyclone that made landfall as a Category 5 equivalent super typhoon on Catanduanes in the Philippines during the Halloween 2020 season, and in Vietnam as a tropical storm. It is the strongest landfalling tropical cyclone on record by 1-minute maximum sustained winds, having 315 km/h 1-minute sustained winds at the time of it's landfall in Catanduanes before rapidly weakening to a tropical storm upon exiting Philippine landmass.

In ABS-CBN, TeleRadyo aired non-stop special coverage on the super typhoon, with ANC simulcasting TeleRadyo on the storm's coverage, which was praised despite lacking a congressional franchise, while GMA News TV aired reruns of the Pokémon anime, and GMA Network was airing a dubbed version of Hotel Transylvania.
