Super Typhoon Odette, also known by it's international name Rai, was a deadly and extremely destructive super typhoon, which was the second costliest typhoon in Philippine history behind Super Typhoon Yolanda in 2013. Odette was a powerful typhoon that struck the Philippines in December 2021. It impacted the Visayas and Mindanao regions, peaking with 195 km/h winds.
Impacts on ABS-CBN[]
Following the storm's onslaught, ABS-CBN held a benefit concert titled Tulong-tulong Sa Pag-ahon for the victims of the typhoon.
Pinoy Big Brother's-then ongoing season (Kumunity Season 10), also helped the victims of the said typhoon.
Retirement[]
Following the storm's onslaught, Odette was retired by PAGASA and replaced with Opong.
