Star Patrol is a segment of the ABS-CBN News' flagship news program, TV Patrol. On weekdays, the segment is anchored by Gretchen Fullido. Originally, from it's inception in 2004 until the change of anchors in November 2010, it was anchored by Phoemela Baranda.
This segment focuses on showbiz news. Usually anchored by Fullido, on certain occasions, a celebrity guest Star Patroller may fill in for Fullido to promote a premiering or ending project. Occasionally, Bernadette Sembrano, Karen Davila, or sometimes Ganiel Krishnan will anchor the segment in the absence of Fullido or no celebrity Star Patroller being available on that day.

Celebrity guest anchors[]
During certain occasions whenever a series is premiering or ending, or a movie is being shown in cinemas, the leading lady of the said project will do the Star Patrol duties as part of the project's promotional activities.
Sometimes, during post-pandemic era, a male Star Patroller would occasionally do the duties. Since 2024, there can be duos that would do the Star Patroller duties.

- During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021, there would be no celebrity guest Star Patroller anchors due to COVID-19-related restrictions that were implemented during the said years. It would later return on May 27, 2022, with Karen Bordador being the first Celebrity Star Patroller after the pandemic hit, roughly three months after most restrictions were lifted.
- Christian Bables being the guest Star Patroller during the March 25, 2023 broadcast of TV Patrol is the first time the celebrity guest anchor being a male, as the celebrity guest anchors are mostly female.
- Sheena Belarmino is the youngest guest Star Patroller to date, being 17 years old at the time of her guest anchoring duties.
- Rico Hizon's appearance on TV Patrol on November 4, 2024 marks the first that the guest Star Patroller is a journalist rather than a usual celebrity.
- On TV Patrol Weekend, the segment is anchored by a female co-anchor (currently Zen Hernandez in particular) since the weekend edition has no assigned anchor of the segment unlike it's competing GMA newscast, 24 Oras Weekend (Chika Minute).
- The segment was also anchored on the regional editions of TV Patrol. Among of which was Phoebe Fernandez for TV Patrol Central Visayas.
- On TV Patrol Express, the segment is called Star Patrol Express and is anchored by Denice Dinsay.
