Maja Ross Andres Salvador is a Filipino actress, television presenter, dancer, recording artist, businesswoman, film producer and model. Known for portraying strong female leads and revenge dramas in film and television, she has been described as one of the best actresses of her generation. Her accolades include an Asia Contents Award, a FAMAS Award, a Gawad Urian Award, a Luna Award and a PMPC Star Awards for Movies, including nominations from Asian Television Awards and Asian Academy Creative Awards.
In 2020, Salvador was one of the Kapamilya talents who were affected by the shutdown of the ABS-CBN television network, which after the layoffs, despite an ASAP appearance in August 2020, she would later end up being one of the talents who were loaned to Brightlight Productions-produced blocktimer Sunday variety show, Sunday Noontime Live!. and later left Star Magic to form her own talent agency, Crown Artist Management. Despite this, as well as later focusing her hosting duties and casting on various shows on other channels/networks, she sometimes appear on ABS-CBN's drama series like The Iron Heart and even making occasional appearances on ASAP.
On October 13, 2024, Salvador returned to ASAP as part of the show's 30th anniversary celebration, 4 years after her last regular appearance, though she had one appearance to promote her single Sugal.
