Korina Sanchez is a Filipino newscaster working for ABS-CBN News. She was a former anchor of TV Patrol from 2001 to 2004, and later returned in 2010 to 2015. She was also an original anchor of Bandila from 2006 to 2009, as well as the host of Rated Korina (formerly Rated K).
Sanchez began in ABS-CBN on Hoy Gising! In 1995, she joined TV Patrol, replacing Mel Tiangco who was suspended by ABS-CBN. She later became a main anchor on March 12, 2001, alongside Henry Omaga-Diaz and Aljo Bendijo. It was until 2004 that they left the newscast, then became a primary anchor of Bandila in 2006. In 2009, Sanchez left Bandila to marry Mar Roxas, and re-joined TV Patrol in 2010, replacing Karen Davila and Julius Babao. Sanchez would later leave in 2015, and was replaced by Bernadette Sembrano.

In December 2011, Korina committed a blooper while reporting. She was reporting about the increased prices of the ham that Christmas season, but suddenly coughed on-screen. She later pointed to fellow anchor Noli de Castro, who then said that she got choked on a ham and laughs.[4]
