Overview[]
On June 13, 2020, at 5:00 AM (PST), Kapamilya Channel was formally launched with the Kapamilya Daily Mass as its first program. At that time, it was available on Sky Cable (in both SD and HD), Cablelink, G Sat, Sky Direct, and other cable providers who are members of the Philippine Cable and Telecommunications Association (PCTA). The channel operates 24 hours a day, with a movie block entitled Movie Central Presents airing overnight.
On June 30, 2020, Sky Direct ceased operations, effectively removing Kapamilya Channel on its line-up. On August 1, much of its programming began live streaming on Kapamilya Online Live via ABS-CBN's Facebook and YouTube accounts. On October 21, the channel officially became available on Cignal and Sat Lite. In June 2022, the HD feed became available on Cignal.
