John Ariel Rojas is a resident weather meteorologist for ABS-CBN News.
He was formerly a weather specialist for PAGASA from 2017 to 2021. He moved to ABS-CBN on December 2021, during Super Typhoon Odette.
Rojas is the segment anchor for the Weather Patrol segment on the main TV Patrol newscast, replacing Kim Atienza who left in October 2021. He also appears on TV Patrol Express on Fridays to announce the weather for the weekend, and also on TV Patrol Weekend during severe weather conditions (eg. landfalling typhoons, southwest monsoons that cause heavy rains in most of Luzon).
He also hosts "Ligtas Dapat" on DWPM Radyo 630.
