BINI at the ABS-CBN Ball 2025
The ABS-CBN Ball, formerly known as the Star Magic Ball before 2018, is a red carpet gathering of the network's executives, key people, and personalities.
First held in 2007, the Ball is held at various Metro Manila hotels, with most editions being held at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel's Rizal Ballroom.
The Ball would later be held as an annual event, typically on a Saturday in September, except in 2016 (it was held in October instead due to Angeline Quinto and Erik Santos being in a tour across the United States and Canada, which the event was held at a later date to allow them to attend), as well as 2020 and 2021 (no Ball was held during these years due to the restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, which limited mass gatherings to prevent the spread of the virus), 2022 and 2024 (due to scheduling conflicts of the artists).
In 2018, the Ball was rebranded to the ABS-CBN Ball, in order to include the other artists of the network, instead of just Star Magic artists.
Starting with the 2023 edition (the first post-pandemic Ball), younger artists (usually under 18) typically do not attend the ball, as the Star Magical Prom was established to focus on the younger artists.
On September 30, 2023, the Ball would mark it's first post-pandemic edition. The Ball was skipped again in 2024, due to various unknown reasons, and would return in 2025, also marking the earliest time for an ABS-CBN Ball to be staged.

2007 Edition[]
The first edition of the Star Magic Ball was held on August 5, 2007.
2008 Edition[]
The 2008 Edition was held on June 29, 2008.
2009 Edition[]
The 2009 Edition was held on August 30, 2009.
2010 Edition[]
The 2010 Edition was held on September 5, 2010.
2011 Edition[]
The 2011 Edition was held on September 3, 2011 at the Peninsula Manila.
2012 Edition[]
The 2012 Edition was held on September 1, 2012. It also commemorated Star Magic's 20th anniversary.
2013 Edition[]
The 2013 Edition was held on September 7, 2013 at Fairmont Makati
2014 Edition[]
The 2014 Edition was held on September 6, 2014 at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel.
2015 Edition[]
The 2015 Edition was held on September 12, 2015 at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel.
2016 Edition[]
The 2016 Edition was held on October 22, 2016 at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel. This was the latest time held for an ABS-CBN Ball.
2017 Edition[]
The 2017 Edition was held on September 30, 2017 at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel.
ABS-CBN Ball[]
2018 Edition[]
The 2018 Edition was held on September 29, 2018 at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel. It was the first Ball to bear the ABS-CBN Ball branding.
2019 Edition[]
The 2019 Edition was held on September 15, 2019 at Shangri-La at the Fort Hotel. It was the last Ball to be held before the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the eventual Shutdown of ABS-CBN. It was themed on Modern Filipiniana.
2020-2021[]
No Balls were held in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic-induced restrictions which prohibited mass gatherings during the said years.
2022 Edition (cancelled)[]
The 2022 Edition was supposed to be held on October 2, 2022 at the Manila Marriott Hotel, with a theme of Modern Filipiniana, however, it was not held due to various unforeseen circumstances.
2023 Edition[]
The 2023 Edition was held on September 30, 2023 at Makati Shangri-La Hotel. It was the first Ball to be held after the COVID-19 pandemic prevented the Ball from being held in the preceding years. The Ball was themed on Black Tie and had a tagline of "Forever Grateful".
2024 Edition[]
No ball was held in 2024, instead, the Star Magical Prom 2024 and Star Magical Christmas 2024 were held instead. This marked the only year so far (excluding COVID-19 pandemic-restricted years) since it's inception that the ABS-CBN Ball was not held.
2025 Edition[]
After not being held in 2024, the 15th overall Ball was held on April 4, 2025. It was taglined as Brighter Together, and featured Spring Formal as the theme of the Ball. Due to no Ball being held in 2024, it marked a 552 day gap between Balls.
